was given up at birth and placed with a foster family. my birth mother returned after a few weeks/months (not sure of exact timeframe but i was still very young) and took me back (she was 15-16yo at the time and going through an unstable time in her life (sic) or so i was told) and kept me for a month before leaving me at an associate of hers and never returned to pick me up. foster family had provided her with as much help (diapers, clothing, etc) as they could when she came back to get me and had written their contact information in my clothing/diapers in case i/she needed more help or changed her mind etc and her associate saw this while i was in his care, made contact with them and i was picked up and adopted by my (foster) family shortly thereafter.
