Additional Info
I do not know much about my birth family as back in the late 60’s the adoptions through the state were closed, but I did speak with a case worker at the MS Children’s Home Society a few years ago who read my birth mother’s application to me...and unlike most, it was full of facts. My parents were both 19 which would make them 69 yo. I believe my mother was average height and had brown hair and maybe brown eyes and my father was y’all, had blonde hair and\\n blue eyes, like myself. There was mention my mother was anemic during her pregnancy and fell down a few stairs. My father was well liked in school and extraveryed (like me), and my mother’s favorite subject in school was science (like me), and hobbies was painting, (like me). The application went on to read on the back that my great grandmother and grandmother wanted to adopt me, but my birth mom wanted me to have both a mother and father, of which I had wonderful parents. It read like a novel, which is comical because I’m also known to write long salutations and explanations. I believe my great grandmother had threatened to tell my birth mothers brothers (I believe she had several), if my birth mom went through with the adoption.\\nIt read that my parents were both heading off to college. \\nBoth of my parents have passed, 9 and 10 years now, and with their life long blessing, I want to know my birth parents...if not to form a relationship, then to meet just once and see where/who I come from. I am very interested in knowing any siblings/family who is willing.\\n
