My grandmother was adopted in Illinois and we can find very little about her. She was very secretive as were other family and so any information left with her. She was born in 1931 but we are unsure if she was adopted later as we have no baby pictures of her at all. We have been told her birth name was Betty J Sedon, however, no one is really sure of the spelling. Her adopted name is Barbara Janice Becker and she lived in Dixon Illinois with who we believe was her half sister (also adopted) Phyllis Margaret Becker.
