I've never been able to establish that Louise Hill is the actual name of the birth mother. It was apparently the habit of the Veil to falsify part of the birth parents information. All the paperwork that I have from the lawyers who handled adoption say Louise Hill. But it also says that she and Harold were both from Erie, PA and he was born in Boston and lived almost his entire life in Springfield MA. I had my DNA and my brothers done 4 or 5 years ago and thats how we found out about my moms birthfather but we dont have any close hits on my moms birthmother...the connections are so far out generation wise that its almost impossible to figure out. My mom died in 2012...I'm just looking for the story behind her birth and a name and if possible a photograph. She was a wonderful mother and I would love to let the family know that the child that was given away was adopted by loving parents and grew up to be a strong, loving mother who traveled the world and had 4 beautiful children.
