I am the adoptee's daughter who she agreed with that I could search and help her out . She had tried finding her birth mother the 1st time in January of 1996 for her 31st birthday , but my biological grandmother wasn't ready or more likely it was not a good time . I respect my mom for the courage and heart to search again , after so many years of me wanting to know more about her biological grandmother . Some things you'll need to know is stuff we were told from the adoption papers and facts we know to be true so far from what we've read and been told. She was born January on or near 16th 1966 . We're not sure in Florida or not , but if so I am thinking the Tampa region or any Pinellas county cities . Her birth mother as far as we know is Greek and came to America from Greece . Her birth father Is believed to be Black although the papers say he was Mexican or Spanish descent but who knows . Her mother was a Greek Orthodox woman and her father a Roman Catholic . So both were of Christian faith as far as the papers tell us . Her bio mother when my mom contacted her thought she had a boy all these years. when really she had a girl because of the language barrier her speaking Greek and still learning English . Her bio father finished school I believe and had a love for music . He stood about 5'8 curly Black hair and Dark Brown eyes that looked Black . My bio grandmother was I believe anywhere from 5'0-5'3 , Dark Brown curly hair and Brown eyes. She had two siblings as far as we know a sister and brother . Her mother was the home maker and her father my bio great grandfather was employed as a sponge diver all though he dreamed of pro sports . Her bio mother went on to have two kids after my mom which we're boys from what the social worker said in 1996 when my mom contacted her the 1st time . But if you're out there bring it on in we'd love to meet you and I'd love for my mom to know her biological family , I know she's wondered over the years and I myself would love to know you . With love your granddaughter , daughter and whatever name of relation you have with us .
